The Undertaker Animated
Celebrity Deathmatch was an MTV show showcasing clay animated celebrities dueling it out to the death in the mock squared circle. Though many people know that the show had featured not only celebrities including; Jerry Springer, Ron Jeremy, Howard Stern and Carmen Electra just to name a few, but it also featured pro wrestling cameos as well. Mr. McMahon, Stone Cold Steve Austin etc., but what you may not of known is The Undertaker too took the trip to “Clay City”. In the episode that featured him, he beat Captain Doody and later on in the evening assisted Johnny Gomez and Nick Diamond on color commentary. He would only appear in one episode. WWE always had a working relationship with MTV so none of this surprised me.
Eva Marie Suffered From Teenage Alcohol Abuse
Have you seen her on NXT lately? I think she’s suffering now. Yes the fiery redhead has improved a smidgen, but not enough to wow me. However what does impress me is a 100 pound high school girl who could drink me under the table. I’m not going to focus too much on this one because I was just being facetious.
Kevin Owens Involved His Infant Son in In-Ring Segment
Before Kevin Owens was Kevin Owens, he was Kevin Steen. One occasion for the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla promotion in California he proved the lengths he would go to for the business and to become a star. Picture it PWG, Kevin Steen in the ring with company co-owner Excalibur, and his infant son Owen (named after Owen Hart, fact two) who was then six-months-old. Owens would deliver three of his patented package piledrivers after Excalibur called his son ugly. The in ring segment went over when Owens placed his son on top of Excalibur for the pinfall victory. That kid had the biggest win of his career in that moment, and with any luck he’ll be world champion by twelve.
Wade Barrett & Alicia Fox Once Dated?
This one is more for me then you the reader. This one you might of known and I didn’t until just recently. It must have been a short one, no? I know of Ambrose/Young, Bryan/Bella, Cena/Bella, Bella’s mom and the Ex-EVP of Talent Relations (congrats Johnny), but this one was a shock. I can just imagine the two of them on a date Barrett eating his Yorkshire pudding and Alicia talking about how she’s a better wrestler then both Bella’s and she’s treated as the sidekick. To which Barrett replies “team with Cody it really takes you out of a Royal Creative Rutt”. This is one couple though all kidding aside I would of liked to of seen stay together, I’m a big fan of both.
John Cena Was in WCW-based film Ready To Rumble
Cena had an uncredited role in the 2000 movie Ready to Rumble. This was a film revolving around the WCW promotion. So before John Cena was the poster child of WWE, the face that runs the place, he was playing a gym trainer for the competition’s propaganda film. For what it’s worth at that time Cena was young and David Arquette held more world titles then he did. But still good to see Cena jumped on with the winning wrestling brand and one day whether you love him or hate him, will break Ric Flair’s streak for most World Title wins.
