​The Rock’s “San Andreas” Once Again Dominates At The Box Office, TV Network Sued Over WWE, Rollins

— The Rock’s movie San Andreas has now earned $140.3 million worldwide. The weekend is far from over so expect this to increase big time. We’ll have the complete weekend/total numbers on Monday morning.

— Ecuadorian authorities at the Superintendency of Communication and Information (Supercom) have fined the Teleamazonas Network for airing WWE shows. They believe WWE violates federal laws against the promotion of violence. The network was fined $1,770 for airing WWE on March 28, during a time slot meant for family programs.

— We reported earlier today here on the website that during a Q&A at the Wizard World convention in St. Louis, Missouri last week, Seth Rollins credited Joey Mercury with saving his WWE career. He said he had a reputation for having a big ego during his time in NXT and a lot of heat on him as a result. He thought he was the best performer in developmental and was frustrated with how much time he had to spend there. He said he was almost fired by WWE until Mercury helped “lay everything out” for him and put him “on the right path”.
