After RAW went off the air, the WWE honored WWE Hall of Famer Pat Patterson during Pat Patterson Appreciation Night at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The event had been scheduled a few years back on the same night Jerry Lawler had a heart attack and was scrapped as a result.
During the festivities, Vince McMahon made an appearance and gave a speech on Patterson’s career. Vince talked about what Patterson meant to the WWE family for many years. Patterson then was introduced to a huge ovation and hugged McMahon. Patterson also spoke and thanked the WWE Universe. Bret Hart was out next and he praised Patterson. Hart also presented Patterson with a customized Montreal Canadiens jersey.
Triple H then came out and was filming with his own phone for the Periscope app. He brought out the entire WWE roster with him to give it up for Patterson.
