4. Handicap Match For The Intercontinental Championship

Tonight’s episode of SmackDown saw the contract signing for Braun Strowman vs. Shinsuke Nakamura. It quickly turned into the champion claiming he could beat Nakamura, Cesaro, and Zayn. Which the master manipulator abruptly changed the match into a handicap at The Elimination Chamber.

I think this is a brilliant decision. First, it elevates the fighting spirit of Strowman as a dominant champion, and it also in a way makes the question of who would walk out Intercontinental Champion if either of the opponents won the match. I can’t wait to see “The Monster Among Men” tear everyone apart and successfully defend his title.

3. Huge Multi-Man Elimination Chamber Tag Team Championship Match

After Super ShowDown, the brand-new Tag Team Champions The Miz and John Morrison came down to gloat about their victory over The New Day. All of a sudden Greg Hamilton announced a huge multi-man match for Elimination Chamber. Why is this such a great idea? Right now the Raw Tag Team Championship scene is one of the highlights for Monday nights but on the blue brand, it’s looking bleak.

Yes, Miz and Morrison are the champions but outside of The New Day and The Usos where’s the division? Currently, Heavy Machinery is entangled with the Mandy Rose/Dolph Ziggler storyline that’s rumored for a big match at WrestleMania so you all but count them out of winning the titles. There’s also Robert Roode and Ziggler but heels don’t typically defeat heels so I don’t consider them a threat.

I am just excited to see how the champions walk out of the elimination chamber with the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. It should be a fun match.
