It looks like AJ Styles is heading back to Ring of Honor. Which is a small independent promotions based out of Bristol, Pennsylvania. AJ Styles has been in the headlines as of late in regards of leaving TNA for good. He has not resigned with the company and is booked for the next upcoming TV taping on January 4th in Nashville, Tennessee.
“The Phenomenal One” might be coming back to his second home in ROH. AJ Styles was a part of the company in their early stages back in 2002 through 2006. He has held both the Pure Wrestling and Tag Team championships in his run while working for the company.
It has been quoted lately that “AJ Styles built the house for TNA” and possible that he put them on the map. He is a household name for them and now looks to be going to ROH. Ring of Honor has good quality wrestlers that he can have fresh matches with if he stays full time with the company.
Due to both companies’ contracts, He cannot work for both companies if the even he works is recorded via video for sale. This means, eventually he will have to pick one company over the other. I believe that if AJ Styles and TNA can come together and make a deal that both sides can live with, than he will stay with TNA. If this does not work-out then look for the “The Phenomenal One” to be the newest full time member to the ROH roster.
