WWE PPV’s That Should Be Gone

WWE currently is producing twelve pay-per-views a year and starting after the Elimination Chamber PPV it will also be on the WWE Network. Old news right? With that being said. If you look at the current 2014 WWE pay-per-views schedule they are pretty much the same year after year. Some are there for no reason and some have out stayed their welcome.

First off, I want to divided this in two half’s. The first half is pay-per-views that should be gone which is what you’re readying today. Tomorrow’s piece I will write the second half, what other PPV that should be brought back to the current schedule. It should be noting as of this writing. The PPV’s mention is their current schedule. Ok Let’s Go.

Battleground, Payback, Hell in a Cell and TLC, are the pay-per-views that need to go. Battleground and Payback are pretty much the same concept. Superstars get their revenge on whoever they are feuding with at the time. Ok throw them into a large container that is headed to the WWE archive footage facility as they are no longer needed anymore.

The Hell in a Cell PPV is not a factor anymore. HIAC was started as a gimmick match. It was a match that you put a very heated, violent feud in it to ending the program. It was unforgiving. It allowed you to tear your opponent from head to toe. Now days with the PG Era they hardly use the cell anymore.

Why should it have its on pay-per-view? It is just a gimmick to lure in the “WWE Universe” to buy the PPV. Let’s get rid of it and bring it back maybe once a year in situations that it is called for.

Finally we get to the Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view. Every year aside from 2013, we have a match that involves a ladder, then one with a chair followed by one with a table. Usually in the main event they finally give us a match that involves all three components of the pay-per-view gimmick as headline match.

There is no reason to have a chair match, in almost all cases it hurts the quality of the match. Bam shot to the back and to the ribs of your opponent. Deadly! Once again, in the same category let’s put it in the WWE archive footage and bring it back when the situation calls for it.

Agree or disagree let me hear you in the comment section. Will be back tomorrow with WWE PPV’s that should be brought back.
