“Yes, sir, we promised you a great main event…”

The Authority’s music hits, and JBL exclaims, “Now this is the way to kick off Monday Night RAW!” Michael Cole talks about the final battle between The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell last night. They show still photos from the match. The match ended when Lesnar gave Undertaker a low blow before giving him an F5 on the exposed wood of the ring. After the match, The Wyatt Family attacked Undertaker and carried him off.

Stephanie McMahon says last night at Hell in a Cell, the WWE Universe witnessed battles of mythic proportions. Scores were settled and legends were made. Triple H calls attention to the triumphant return of Alberto Del Rio and how he defeated John Cena to become the WWE United States Champion. Last night was the emergence of the next generation of WWE Superstars. Stephanie says the man who is leading the next generation of superstars had the biggest victory of all last night. This man defeated the Demon Kane. He’s simply known as “The Man.” He is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins!

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring with his arms triumphantly held up and smiling. Rollins smacks the WWE World Heavyweight Championship a few times. Still photos are shown of his match against the Demon Kane. Kane’s loss to Rollins means that he is no longer the Director of Operations for The Authority. Rollins embraces Triple H and Stephanie in the ring before they raise his hands. Stephanie says Rollins has been the WWE World Heavyweight Champion for a long time ever since he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania and changed the course of WWE history. Triple H says they didn’t make it easy on him. They lined up superstar after superstar, legend after legend, and he still emerged as champion. Rollins proved them right. Stephanie says they had to make sure he was the right person to represent The Authority and lead this next generation of superstars. Rollins found a way to beat the odds just like he husband has done. Triple H says not only did Rollins win last night, he stood by his beliefs and beat Kane to oust him as Director of Operations for The Authority. Rollins made The Authority better. Triple H says it brings a tear to his eye to say they’re proud of him. Rollins hugs Triple H before hugging Stephanie.

Rollins says he’s speechless for the first time ever. Last night at Hell in a Cell, he exercised his greatest demon when he defeated the Demon Kane and kept his title while ousting him as Director of Operations. Rollins says he’d never have had this opportunity without two great visionaries in Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Rollins asks the crowd to give it up for The Authority, but they loudly boo him. Stephanie says Rollins is the greatest superstar of his generation and on his way to the WWE Hall of Fame. Rollins has left them in an awkward situation. Triple H says Rollins cleared the slate and beat everyone on the roster. They have to let people earn the right. They have to dig, scratch, claw, and fight their way up to earn the privilege to face the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. That’s exactly what they’ll do tonight. Tonight, they’ll take the winners from last night and have them compete in this very ring. The winners of those matches will face in a Fatal Four Way Match tonight. The winner of that match will have earned the right to be called the #1 Contender. They’ll have earned the privilege of getting beaten by Rollins. Rollins says that sounds like…

Roman Reigns’ music interrupts him. Reigns makes his way to the ring through the crowd to a nice reception. Reigns says this whole thing has got him feeling sick. Reigns can’t believe The Authority thinks Rollins belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame. After tonight, they’re looking at the #1 Contender, and he’s taking that championship. Believe that! The crowd boos that a little bit. Stephanie says, “Well then, let the games begin.”
