Notable Superstars Missing from the Card
Note: This is not a full list of everyone on the roster who is not scheduled for the show. It excludes some people who wouldn’t have normally been expected to appear on the show for some fashion, such as some jobbers, injured talent, etc.
Damian Priest / Finn Balor / Theory / The Miz / Mustafa Ali / Ciampa = These guys are all tied in together with crossover feuds. Theory and The Miz have been largely dealing with Mustafa Ali since Finn Balor lost the United States title to Theory. Balor’s had his run-in with Priest, who is banned from ringside for Edge vs. AJ Styles. And for some reason, Ciampa has been attacking Ali. No United States title match, no Ali vs. Ciampa, no tag team match or anything of the sort has been added, though they could always just toss that onto the kickoff at the last minute.
Veer Mahaan = Granted, he would just destroy someone, but still.
Ezekiel / Kevin Owens = I’m very curious why this wasn’t at least added to the kickoff.
The Entire Raw Women’s Division = Bianca Belair isn’t defending her title, despite feuding with Sonya Deville. Asuka isn’t fighting Becky Lynch. Liv Morgan isn’t fighting Rhea Ripley. Nothing with the 24/7 Championship group, including Dana Brooke, Tamina, Nikki A.S.H. and now, Doudrop. Alexa Bliss is still MIA. Carmella and Queen Zelina Vega aren’t involved in backing up Deville anymore, it seems. So…?
Nearly Everyone from SmackDown = The only people competing on the SmackDown side of things are The Bloodline, Drew McIntyre, Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey, Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss. We don’t have Sami Zayn, The New Day, GUNTHER, Ricochet and the Intercontinental Championship, no Shinsuke Nakamura (who looked like he would be the one fighting Roman Reigns for a bit there), Sheamus/Butch/Ridge Holland, no Lacey Evans, no women’s tag team championship match, no Xia Li, no Raquel Rodriguez…etc…yeesh.
