WWE Wrestlers And Their DBZ Equivalent

I love WWE. I also love Dragon Ball Z. Ever since I was a little kid, they have essentially made up most of the entertainment I experienced in my childhood. There are some parallels between the two shows, more than you think. Allow me to show you.

John Cena – Goku

The entire company revolves around Cena, just how DBZ revolves around Goku. You ever hear the term “Super Cena”?. Yea, that’s because of Goku and how his strength and resolve is increased when transformed into a Super Saiyan. There have been many places where Cena should have lost a match, but at the very bring, he always gets back up. It is starting to become a cliche, though. Remember John Cena vs Brock Lesnar at Extreme Rules last year? Think of Goku vs Broly when you think of that match. This is easiest comparison by far.

Randy Orton – Vegeta

Just like Vegeta, Randy Orton never seems to be happy unless it is when he causes other people pain. Cold-hearted, cunning and sadistic make up all the characteristics that parallel Vegeta to Randy Orton. Like Vegeta trying to surpass Goku, Orton has tried before to surpass Cena as the face of WWE. Unfortunately, he will never reach that level and will always play second fiddle to John Cena. Orton and Cena, just like Goku and Vegeta, has had amazing bouts with each beating each other to a pulp. There is no questioning the similarity between the two.

Ric Flair – Master Roshi

Both of them are old, but they both were the original masters in their craft. Their similarities when it comes to fighting is almost similar as to their taste in women. I wouldn’t call Ric a pervert, but he certainly shares some of Ric’s interests in that regard.

Dolph Ziggler – Yamcha

Both of them like to show off, but at the same time they both lose nearly every fight they have been in. And when they do win, more often than not, it is very unimportant. They both are stagnant and never became major in their respective leagues. That may change for Ziggler, but as it stands now, he is in no man’s land.

Brock Lesnar – Broly

Another easy comparison here. They both are horrible talkers, but make up for it with their overwhelming speed and power. They dominate their opponents with relative ease and have no problem in making short work of their opponents. Unless of course you are facing Goku and can get killed with one punch, just like how Cena only needed a steel chain to beat Lesnar.

Vickie Guerrerro – Chi-Chi

Both of them like to complain a lot and are both annoying. Only difference is that Chi Chi stood by one man, Goku. Vikki has been with Edge, Dolph and Big Show. Just saying.

The Shield – Frieza (Dean Ambrose), Zarbon (Seth Rollins), Dodoria (Roman Reigns

This is about as close as I could do. You have Frieza and Dean Ambrose, the clear leaders of their respective trios, Seth Rollins and Zarbon, the most athletic and most physically appealing to the women on their sides, and Roman Reigns and Dodoria, the powerhouses who don’t talk often.

Chris Jericho – Cell

I don’t know, but something catches the eye about both of them. They both are tremendously cocky. They both like to steal their opponents moves and they are very good at speaking. In Jericho’s case, he is very good with in-ring psychology and promos while Cell is very good at disrespecting their opponents before putting them down (Trunks, Vegeta).

Santino Marella – Hercule

They only serve the purpose of comic relief and nothing more, nothing less.

AJ Lee – Videl

They are both attractive females who aren’t that shabby when it comes to fighting. They both have that innocent school girl look as well.

Daniel Bryan – Teen Gohan

What they lack in size, they make up for in their great ability to defeat people bigger than they are. Daniel has always been a man of unlocked potential, much like Gohan’s untapped potential seen in short bursts.

CM Punk – Trunks

First, I think, in a way, they sound sort of similar and are extremely skilled. They are also very clear in their ambitions and though they have been defeated before, they will always rise back again and answer a challenge.

The Great Khali – Majin Buu : They both try to speak properly, but they just can’t do it.

Triple H – Piccolo : I just see both of them as powerful, no-nonsense people who always tries to find their way at the center of everything they do. Of course Triple H’s ego is much bigger than Piccolo’s.

Alberto Del Rio – Tien: They are both similar in that they are both efficient in what they do. They were both main event very early, but as the years went by, the pecking order changed and people just don’t care about them after a while after.

Vince Mcmahon – Kami

They are both old men who has to essentially guard the WWE and the Earth respectively. Course, Kami isn’t as cutting edge as Vince.

Shane Mcmahon – Popo

The assistant to the guardian, they don’t do a lot of talking, but from time to time they will do crazy things out of character, like fight.

Paul Heyman – Dr. Gero

They are both old, but they are also both masterminds. Paul Heyman created ECW, what seems true to more actual wrestling while Dr. Gero created andriods not even Super Sayians can stop.

The Undertaker – Omega Shenron

I don’t know about this one but i just see them as two incredible powerful entities that will require a large amount of power to beat either of them. Of course this is referring to Shenron’s power of the seven shadow dragons and the Undertaker’s perfect WrestleMania streak.

Ryback – Nappa

They have the three b’s in common: big, bulky, and bald. They also both absolutely stink and both do not pick up important wins. All Ryback is missing is a tail.

Damien Sandow – Krillin: Their size isn’t anywhere near the same and Sandow is far more intelligent than Krillin. But Krillin has been killed so many times. Just how Sandow has been buried so many times to wrestlers the likes of John Cena and Randy Orton.

Shawn Michaels – Adult Gohan

Earlier, I said that Daniel Bryan is the equivalent to Teen Gohan. And when he grows up, he could be the next Shawn Michaels. Well, maybe. But the point is that they are still older, but much more experienced.

The Miz: Andriod 17

Snotty, overconfident and belief of superiority makes up the both of them really. This was as close as I could do with this one.

Kane: Andriod 16

Big, strong and very robotic like. Andriod 16’s purpose was to kill Goku. Kane’s purpose is to be the devil’s favorite demon and thrive on destruction. I think it kind of works.

Sin Cara – Chiaotzu

Just a little flying little guy that no one really cares about. OH and they both botch a lot.

Jim Ross/Michael Cole – DBZ Announcer

All DBZ fans have at least heard one time “Last time on Dragon Ball Z…” or stuff like that. That’s the position Ross and Cole would fill.

Big Show – Ox King

They’re both pretty fat.

Howard Finkel – Worlds Martial Arts Tournament Announcer

They both announce the match, and do very good at it.

Lita – Andriod 18

They both sound similar, love to fight, and are both extremely pretty.

The Spirit Squad – The Ginyu Force

Any explanation required here?

Well that’s it in my comparisons. Did I miss anybody? Please inform me. Thank you all for reading, and good night.
