Fantasy Book A Chyna Memorial Battle Royal 2025? | Question Of The Day

Welcome to another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!

Tomorrow’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown will feature the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, which is effectively the means to get “everyone else” in the men’s division onto a WrestleMania-esque card as the next best thing. But there’s never a women’s division equivalent of it for those Superstars who are missing out.

That means once again I’m pitching the same thing I’m always putting out there into the universe: a Chyna Memorial Battle Royal, to celebrate the Ninth Wonder of the World just the same for a theoretical fantasy booking.

If this were a thing this year, using the WWE Superstars of the women’s division who aren’t otherwise already booked for WrestleMania, or injured, who would you have win this?

My question for you today is “How would you fantasy book a winner for a 2025 Chyna Memorial Battle Royal?”

Remember to answer with your response in the comments below.

As far as my answer…

For reference, here’s my lineup of who I would think could compete this year: Alba Fyre, Alexa Bliss, B-Fab, Candice LeRae, Chelsea Green, Dakota Kai, Ivy Nile, Katana Chance, Kayden Carter, Maxxine Dupri, Michin, Natalya, Piper Niven, Scarlett, Shayna Baszler, Zelina Vega, Zoey Stark, and any NXT talent they’d want to showcase.

I believe Asuka, Kairi Sane, Kiana James, and Nia Jax are on the injured list, and that WWE would likely keep Nikki Cross out of it since The Wyatt Sicks has been MIA for a while.

Just at a quick glance, without even giving it any thought, I would narrow the list down to Alexa Bliss, Chelsea Green, Michin, Piper Niven, Zelina Vega, and potentially Roxanne Perez. Basically, it would be whether or not it’s worth giving another accolade to the Women’s United States Champion who somehow isn’t on the card, or to give it to someone else and spread the wealth.

I’d lean more toward Perez winning so she can establish herself as a viable threat once she goes to the main roster in the 2025 WWE Draft, assuming that happens. But at the same time, I think she had enough going on this year that she doesn’t need it, and could just be drafted up and quickly win the Women’s Intercontinental Championship from Lyra Valkyria.

More than anything, I would think the winner of this could use the win to give them something they aren’t achieving. Since Zelina Vega has yet to win a singles title in WWE, I’d give it to her. She’d be one of the two or three smallest girls in the match along with Katana Chance, Roxanne Perez, and Alexa Bliss, so you’ve got the underdog thing there. It would mean a lot more to her character than Bliss, too, who has already been world champion multiple times.

What do you think? Drop your thoughts below!
