Tonight on WWE SmackDown, the tag titles will be on the line in a TLC match and Aleister Black is set to make his return.
My question for you today is “Who do you want to win that TLC match, and what should Black do on this episode?”

As far as my answer…
When it comes to big returns (or, I should say, somewhat big returns—let’s face it, Aleister Black isn’t John Cena, but he’s still an upper-midcard name), I have two different approaches that I think mostly fit in every scenario. Either the Superstar should go straight into a major feud with another big name right from the start, or they should work their way back up by beating lower-card talent for at least a few weeks before establishing a solid feud.
Both options could work here, but I don’t see too many enhancement guys that can fill that void. Outside of Los Garza, an injured Apollo Crews, R-Truth, and you could argue Pretty Deadly, no one else really fits that vibe. Since Angel and Berto are involved in a story with Santos Escobar, Andrade, and Rey Fenix, I think they’re somewhat out of the equation. Kit Wilson and Elton Prince are in more babyface territory now and feuding with Melo Don’t Miz, so that’s out, too.
I would say I’d probably lean toward Black starting a feud with Shinsuke Nakamura, or at least just wrestling him first before moving on to something with Damian Priest, Drew McIntyre, LA Knight, or Jacob Fatu (maybe a little early for that).
With regards to the TLC match, I like all three teams, so I’m down for any of them winning, but I don’t think #DIY should recapture the titles right now. They just had them. Either The Street Profits retain or Motor City Machine Guns win the titles back.
I wish I could find out what WWE has in store for the draft to be able to say whether MCMG will end up on the same brand as The New Day, as I think that’s a feud we need to see. If that’s the case, keep the belts on Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins. But if they’re on the opposite brand, give the belts back to Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin so people feel like the TLC match wasn’t just for shits and giggles. This should’ve been at WrestleMania itself, and since it isn’t, maybe a title change is the best course of action.
