Who Should Join The New Dangerous Alliance? | Question Of The Day

Welcome to another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!

One of the biggest stories this week was Paul Heyman joining up with Seth Rollins, only to also bring Bron Breakker into the fold to form a new faction. There’s no telling if any other members will be recruited, but there’s always a possibility.

My question for you today is “Who would you add to this new faction, or why would you not bring anyone else in?”

Remember to answer with your response in the comments below.

As far as my answer…

For the most part, I like my factions to have a main-eventer, a midcarder, and a tag team with the manager, if need be. Breakker checks off an upper-midcarder, which may mean there will be another midcarder instead of a tag team (or possibly, alongside a tag team).

For the most part, no matter what their dynamics are, I think only a few people could even remotely fit into the vibe. An example, I’ve seen people saying Fraxiom should join, but I think that’s just because they know Nathan Frazer has ties to Rollins, rather than that they’d actually work well within the group, so no, I’m not counting them.

If A-Town Down Under separates, I think Austin Theory could work, but I can’t picture Grayson Waller being more serious in the group or having his persona work with them.

I highly doubt it is even mentioned, but I’d be curious about Shinsuke Nakamura in this type of role as a sort of silent assassin of the group; a hitman for hire, kind of. He just doesn’t have the momentum right now. But that’s not happening.

I could honestly see Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa making a lot of sense if they end up on the same brand. They’re talented as hell, have a chip on their shoulder for being overlooked, are currently heels, and could use a mouthpiece and a push.

I’ve seen people suggest Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, Becky Lynch, and others in the women’s division. Lynch would make the most sense, but I don’t think she’s a necessity.

I’d be curious to bring up someone from NXT at some point, like a Lexis King. Part of the fun of a stable like this is when they really make a star, like Braun Strowman coming into The Wyatt Family, or how Batista wasn’t well known before Evolution. I think he has a lot of talent and could swim rather than sink while establishing his douchebag attitude to the main roster audience that isn’t familiar with him at the moment.

Lastly, if they needed a “heavy” of some kind, I would nominate Bronson Reed, once he’s able to return from injury. If that’s too far down from now and WWE somehow needs a heavy immediately, then I’d suggest either Rusev or Karrion Kross, as the two biggest guys on the main roster that aren’t otherwise occupied.

What do you think? Drop your thoughts below!
