Welcome to another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!
Even ignoring WrestleMania, we’ve still had 3 new champions crowned this week on television, as Raw, NXT, and SmackDown all featured a title change hands.
Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez won the Women’s Tag Team Championship back from Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch, Noam Dar won the NXT Heritage Cup from Lexis King, and Zelina Vega won the Women’s United States Championship from Chelsea Green.
My question for you today is “Who do you think will beat each of these new champions and become the next to hold the gold?”

As far as my answer…
Morgan and Rodriguez I feel is the easiest to answer, by far. There aren’t really many women’s tag teams on the main roster, and most of them don’t strike me as the next in line. For instance, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter had their time, Michin and B-Fab feel secondary, Maxxine Dupri and Natalya didn’t even really get started, and so on. Pure Fusion Collective isn’t being used much, so I think we’re looking at that potential team of Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, even though WWE hasn’t pulled the trigger on it, yet. Historically, though, they’re more likely to put the belts on a new pairing than to go back to a traditional tag team.
Noam Dar is a tough one. The title isn’t particularly important, and he’s not even definitively a heel or a face, so that opens up the floodgates to literally every person, high or low, heel or face, in NXT, EVOLVE, and even LFG. Of course, someone like Oba Femi isn’t going to step down to win it, and someone like Kale Dixon doesn’t stand much of a chance compared to a guy like Je’Von Evans, but stands a far better chance than Troy Yearwood or Drako Knox. My personal pick would be to either put it on Ethan Page or to maybe given this to Eddy Thorpe, so he can play on the whole “heritage” aspect of it, similar to what he was talking about for the North American title, which I think he isn’t quite at the level of yet. Page could win this just to give him something to do.
Zelina Vega I’m hoping holds it long enough that it really boosts her stock. I’m really glad she finally got some recognition, so I’d rather her not just be a quick transitional champion. Post-draft is going to shake up her division and could really dictate the options. Is Roxanne Perez going to end up on the same brand? She’d be a big threat. Will Naomi win it, or will she be on the opposite show? Those are my top two contenders.
