Welcome to another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!

WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 takes place tonight with a pre-show countdown starting at 4 p.m. ET. Set your alarms and stick around at EWN for the live coverage during the event! But before that takes place, we’ve got some time for one more round of predictions. Let’s toss out who we think will walk out of Survivor Series victorious.

My question for you today is “Who do you think will win at WWE Survivor Series 2024?”

Remember to answer with your response in the comments below.

As far as my answer…

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Gunther (c) vs. Damian Priest

Let it be known that every prediction of mine until WrestleMania 41—save for something absolutely crazy happening or an injury or whatever—will be that Gunther is retaining at least until Mania, if not longer.

Gunther beat Priest for the title. There’s NO way he’s dropping the belt back to him. I say that as a fan of Priest, who was very happy he became champion and would like to see him back in the hunt for that again in the future. It’s just not the time, he’s not the guy to beat Gunther, and it’s not happening here.

The bigger question isn’t whether or not Gunther retains, but how he beats Priest. Is it going to be a lame Finn Balor interference again? I sure hope not. I’d rather Gunther just win outright clean to offset his loss from Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel, and because I’m not interested in the Priest/Balor feud continuing whatsoever.

Triple Threat for the Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Ludwig Kaiser vs. Sheamus

I also think it’s not the right time to take the title off Bron Breakker. WWE went in some weird directions with him over the past few months when he failed to beat Sami Zayn at first, dropped the title to Jey Uso temporarily, and has been straddling the line between heel and face for a long while.

He’s playing tweener here, too. Kaiser is the heel, Sheamus is the babyface, and Breakker is the eventual winner between them who fans will be happy to see beat Kaiser, but potentially disappointed to see not fall to The Celtic Warrior.

At some point, I do want Sheamus to win that Intercontinental Championship and cross that off his bucket list. If he hadn’t already gotten involved with Breakker by now, I would have put him in contention for Mania to do that. Now, I have to revert back to my prediction from before where I said I could imagine it being Breakker against Priest, if not with some other guys thrown in the mix as well.

Breakker should hold this at least until Mania, if not longer. Give him a solid run.

United States Championship Match: LA Knight (c) vs Shinsuke Nakamura

Stranger things have happened, but I don’t think Shinsuke Nakamura will walk out of this event as the new United States champion. He hasn’t had enough build for it, just attacking Knight and cutting a promo after spending so many months off television.

I look at Nakamura here as a guy who is important enough to have a solid match with Knight, lose to him, and that’s about it. He’s not here to beat Knight and start controlling the midcard on Friday nights.

Frankly, I was wrong in my prediction that it would be Carmelo Hayes in that role—unless they’re going to circle back to him down the line. I’m not going to be wrong about this, though. Knight retains, for sure.

Women’s WarGames Match: Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Bayley, Iyo Sky, & Naomi vs. Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton & Candice LeRae

The most obvious outcome that makes the most sense to me for this match would be for Rhea Ripley’s team to win, ideally with her getting the pin, so she can then say she’s entitled to another shot at Liv Morgan. It’s past time for The Eradicator to win back the Women’s World Championship and be the leader of Raw’s women’s division.

If I had it my way, it would have already happened prior to Crown Jewel. Since that isn’t the case, I’m now hoping that match takes place at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The sooner, the better.

I don’t see anything coming out of a win for the heels in this match. It won’t push any stories any further or set up any new challengers. This has to go to the babyfaces.

Men’s WarGames Match: Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn & CM Punk vs. Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa & Bronson Reed

This one, on the other hand, could go either way.

I could see a scenario where the babyfaces win, CM Punk can use that as a means to rub it in the face of Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns can force Solo Sikoa into a singles match at SNME or Royal Rumble, and the pinfall can be taken by either Tama Tonga or Tonga Loa.

Then again, what if The Rock shows up and costs them the match? Or, what if CM Punk is a plant brought in by Paul Heyman, who was dressed matching Sikoa, to get revenge on Reigns for abandoning him? Punk could turn heel so they can not only have that match with Rollins be a clear dynamic (boo Punk, cheer Seth), but to also have a match with Reigns down the line. It’s something to think about, even if I don’t necessarily think it will happen here, but I’m convincing myself more and more of it as the days go by.

When push comes to shove, and as of when I’m writing this up, I’m going to say the heels win this.

What do you think? Drop your thoughts below!
