Highlights:
- Otis won Money in the Bank by catching the briefcase after AJ Styles fumbled it from the top of the ladder.
- While it wasn’t known at the time, Asuka’s Money In The Bank win was in fact for the Raw Women’s Championship; Becky Lynch announced she had vacated it the next night on Raw.
- Cameos in the Money In The Bank matches include: Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Brother Love, Paul Heyman, and someone dressing up as Doink The Clown; along with a major reference to AJ Styles’ boneyard match with The Undertaker.
- Drew McIntyre kicked out of the curb stomp and retained against Seth Rollins in a competitive WWE Championship match with no interference. They shook hands afterwards.
- MVP hated R-Truth’s silly antics so much, that he didn’t mind Bobby Lashley taking his spot on the card.
- Sasha Banks’ interference helped Bayley to retain the SmackDown title against Tamina
- Braun Strowman played mind games with Bray Wyatt by wearing the black sheep mask, pretending to be under his spell to trick his former mentor in to a powerslam finisher.
