Highlights:
- After the main event, The Bloodline viciously beat up Kevin Owens. Sami Zayn asked Roman Reigns to stop, but he handed him a chair to do what he said was beneath him. Zayn hit Reigns with the chair instead, so The Bloodline beat him up too, except for Jey Uso, who left the ring.
- In the men’s Royal Rumble, Cody Rhodes entered #30 and won the match for the first time by last eliminating Gunther (who set the record for longest time spent in the Rumble).
- Bobby Lashley eliminated Brock Lesnar clean in the Royal Rumble by himself.
- Rhea Ripley won the women’s Royal Rumble from the #1 spot, last eliminating #2 entrant Liv Morgan.
- After Bianca Belair defeated Alexa Bliss, Uncle Howdy asked the latter if she was really in control.
- Bray Wyatt donned a new look during the Pitch Black match with LA Knight. After winning, Wyatt wore a new mask and placed LA Knight in a spot where Uncle Howdy could drop an elbow drop that triggered some explosions. Members of the Firefly Fun House could be seen watching from above.
- There were a few surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble matches, including Booker T, Edge, Logan Paul, Michelle McCool, NXT’s Roxanne Perez, Zoey Stark, and Indi Hartwell, along with the returns of Asuka (with her evil gimmick from Japan), Nia Jax, Natalya, Chelsea Green, and the renamed Piper Niven (Doudrop). Rey Mysterio was scheduled to enter, but it was implied that Dominik Mysterio and the Judgment Day had taken him out.
