After the main event, Brock Lesnar returned to WWE and stared down Roman Reigns. He attacked John Cena after the show ended.
Goldberg had his leg injured by MVP, after being hit with a cane behind the referee’s back. The match was stopped because Goldberg couldn’t get to his feet. Lashley took out his son with the Full Nelson
Sasha Banks did not appear at SummerSlam for an unknown reason, so Carmella was announced as her replacement. Becky Lynch made her return after maternity leave, and took out Carmella. She challenged Bianca Belair to a title match, which she accepted. Lynch defeated Belair in 27 seconds to win the SmackDown Women’s title for a fourth time.
Edge used a combination of a Crossface and a Sleeper Hold to make Seth Rollins submit.
Despite feuding on the way to SummerSlam, The Miz & Morrison did not interfere in Damian Priest’s match, so he was free to beat Sheamus clean after taking off his face guard.
