Scott Hall/Razor Ramon

Scott Hall suffered abuse and it haunted him throughout his childhood and then career.

In 1983, outside of a nightclub, he got into a fight with a man who pulled out a gun, aiming it at Hall. Hall eventually got hold of the gun after wrestling with the man and shot him point blank in the head. Obviously the man died but Scott wasn’t charged with the second-degree murder due to the lack of evidence but in a now famous interview he gave to ESPN, he admitted killing the man.

Scott was best known for his work with the World Wrestling Federation under the ring name Razor Ramon’ But Hall’s career in WCW only left a black mark on the business due to his drug/alcohol problems, though these days he seems more chilled and refreshed after being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame and being let back in. Hall credits Diamond Dallas Paige for turning his life around.

You can watch the video of Scott admitting killing the man below.

New Jack

ECW’s New Jack has four homicides to his name which is why he is so high on the list. He is known for his willingness to take dangerous bumps and his stiff hardcore wrestling style. He would also make shoots that made CM Punk’s pipe bomb look laughable.

New Jack was a bounty hunter before he joined wrestling and part from the murders New Jack also made headlines for the Mass Transit incident where he nearly killed 17-year-old with a blade and left him lying a pool of blood in the ring. He died aged 21. He was later dropped of all charges.

Known for causing controversy himself, New Jack took part in a shoot interview with The Iron Sheik and The Honky Tonk Man where the subject was Chris Benoit’s murder-suicide.

New Jack commented that nothing could excuse what Benoit had done and all people in the WWE and elsewhere who were making excuses for him were hypocrites.

NJ also thought it was ironic how Extreme Championship Wrestling was seen as violent and dangerous wrestling when he was working there and still only one person died under New Jack’s time with the company, whereas WWE was “averaging three a year.”

Chris Benoit

Wrestling has never seen anything as shocking as what Chris Benoit did that fateful night. Which is why it’s brought up time and time again.

Benoit was a two-time world champion, having been a one-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and a one-time World Heavyweight Champion in WWE; he was booked to win a third world championship at a WWE event on the night of his death.

In June 2007, Benoit, suffering from years of head trauma, drug abuse and looking mentally unstable finally lost his grip and fell. Benoit murdered his wife by strangulation and did the same to his son with a pillow before committing suicide himself..

A majority of the fans still believe that Benoit didn’t commit the massacre and blame others for the tragedy. Some say it was CTE (Chronic traumatic encephalopathy) The incident shook the whole wrestling world and literally changed the way of wrestling.

Toxicology reports released in 2007 revealed that at their time of death, Nancy had three different drugs in her system: Xanax, hydrocodone, andhydromorphone, all of which were found at the therapeutic rather than toxic levels.

Daniel was found to have Xanax in his system, which led the chief medical examiner to believe that he was sedated before he was murdered. Benoit was found to have Xanax, hydrocodone, and an elevated level of testosterone, caused by a synthetic form of the hormone, in his system.

Chief medical examiner attributed the testosterone level to Benoit possibly being treated for a deficiency caused by previous steroid abuse or testicular insufficiency. There was no indication that anything in Benoit’s body contributed to his violent behavior that led to the murder–suicide, concluding that there was no “roid-rage” involved.

Former wrestler Christopher Nowinski contacted Michael Benoit, father of Chris Benoit, suggesting that years of trauma to his son’s brain may have led to his actions. Tests were conducted on Benoit’s brain by Julian Bailes, the head of neurosurgery at West Virginia University, and results showed that “Benoit’s brain was so severely damaged it resembled the brain of an 85-year-old Alzheimer’s patient.

There are many other wrestlers who have killed. This is a list i compiled together. Thanks for reading..
