Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin – No Disqualification Match
Predicted Winner: Baron Corbin
This feud ran out of steam after Payback, so stretching it to Extreme Rules really does nothing. That being said, it at least keeps Corbin busy with someone easy to work with. Hopefully we see a vicious side of Corbin with weapons in this no DQ match, because it would fit right into his character. Corbin ‘should’ win, unless WWE has decided to completely give up on him after two months.

Kalisto vs. Rusev (WWE United States Championship)
Predicted Winner: Rusev
Kalisto is slightly injured with a sprained muscle, but will still compete at Extreme Rules against the Bulgarian Brute. Although Kalisto has a ton of upsides (filling the Mysterio void, selling merchandise, appealing to children etc.), this semi push where he is still tagging with Sin Cara and losing more than he is winning has not worked. This is the moment where they either make Kalisto look like a breakout star, or pull the title off of him and give to Rusev to rebuild. The match itself should you your run-of-the-mill Raw match, maybe with a few extra minutes. Kalisto vs. Ryback at Payback was surprisingly good, so this could still follow the same pattern.

Miz vs. Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro vs. Sami Zayn (WWE Intercontinental Championship)
Predicted Winner: The Miz
It would be hard to argue that a match with Cesaro, Zayn and Owens would be anything but spectacular. Fatal 4-ways tend to become slightly disjointed, which could definitely happen here. Having 3 of the top workers in the company in the same match does help though. At an absolute minimum, expect some great spots, and maybe some yelling in French between Maryse and one of the other competitors (Cesaro, Owens and Zayn can all speak French). The Miz winning this makes sense, since this is the type of match where he can steal a victory, either by roll-up, or by waiting for someone to execute a finisher and him pushing the other guy out and scoring the pinfall. Zayn or Cesaro would also look stronger by beating Miz in a singles match, whether that be on Raw or Money in the Bank.

Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho – Asylum Match
Predicted Winner: Dean Ambrose
New gimmick matches have always been very hit or miss, and this is no difference. Either this becomes a very innovative hardcore match that people begin to look forward to, or it goes into the failed category along with the Punjabi prison and the Kennel from Hell. Dean and Jericho are both great workers, even with the limitation of being in a cage. If this is Jericho’s last match before his break, he will do his best to put on a show that people remember. Ambrose will definitely be picking up the win on Sunday.

Charlotte vs. Natalya – Submission Match (WWE Women’s Championship)
Predicted Winner: Charlotte
Although we have seen these women fight a dozen times already, there still seems to be some steam left in the feud. Adding a submission stipulation (which is how it likely would have ended anyways) and Flair banned from ringside will keep it slightly more interesting. If the girls can top their match on NXT, we should be in for a great match. Charlotte will win, mainly because we still are waiting for the coveted Charlotte vs. Sasha match at SummerSlam.

The New Day vs. The Vaudevillians (WWE Tag Team Championship)
Predicted Winner: The New Day
This match solely exists to get the Vaudevillians some good exposure to the casual audience. Unfortunately, it has fell quite flat (especially with the time machine segment on Monday). The sooner this feud ends, the better. The in-ring should be fine, but nothing out of your average Raw tag team match. New Day to win.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. The Usos – Texas Tornado Match
Predicted Winners: Gallows & Anderson
This match was a late addition to the card, but something we expected. Tornado tag matches are very underutilized, and is a great dynamic to add. With both teams very familiar with working with their partner, it gives a great opportunity to showcase tandem sequences and double team moves. Even though it seems they have been facing each other every week, this should be a good match. Expect this to be one of the sleeper matches to surprise everyone. Gallows & Anderson to win, mainly because they need to win their first feud since debuting.

AJ Styles vs. Roman Reigns – Extreme Rules Match (WWE World Heavyweight Championship)
Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns
Poor AJ, if only he had a chance to win this match. That being said, if the quality of the match and work rate is strong enough, it should not matter who wins, because it will have us suspending disbelief in the moment. AJ is a master in the ring, and Roman can pull out good spots when given the chance. This is also the perfect match for someone with a slightly more limited moveset like Reigns, as he can rely on a plethora of different weapons. Even with “The Club” and The Usos being in a match on this PPV, still expect some kind of run-in with both teams. Don’t hold your breath, but there is also a very slight chance that we see someone like a Seth Rollins or Finn Balor somehow get involved too. Hopefully, this is a main event worthy of the name.
