Rumored Current Card for WWE WrestleMania 33

On the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that if Seth Rollins is unable to wrestle in his planned match against Triple H, the currently scheduled lineup of matches could be shuffled around, but as it stands right now, the following card is still on the table:

  • WWE Universal Championship: Goldberg (c) vs. Brock Lesnar
  • WWE Championship: Bray Wyatt (c) vs. Randy Orton
  • Raw Women’s Championship: Charlotte (c) vs. Bayley vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax
  • Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho (most likely for the United States Championship)
  • Roman Reigns vs. The Undertaker
  • Seth Rollins vs. Triple H
  • AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon
  • Mixed Tag Team Match: John Cena & Nikki Bella vs. The Miz & Maryse
  • Big Show vs. Shaquille O’Neal
  • Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

This would leave very little room for other matches on the card, although there are still some rather big names noticeably missing, such as Dean Ambrose (along with the Intercontinental Championship), Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman, the entire SmackDown women’s roster, both Tag Team Championship divisions and more. It can be assumed 20 or so men would compete in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, but with the pre-show and the possible exclusion of the Seth Rollins vs. Triple H match, this card may look quite different as soon as this Monday night. Elimination Chamber should be the first true indication of whether or not plans will change or remain the same.
