As we previously reported (see below), AEW Superstar Lance Archer tested positive for COVID-19. Changes had to be made to last night’s Dynamite card as a result of this.
Originally, a 6-man tag match featuring Jon Moxley, Darby Allin and Willie Hobbs vs. Lance Archer, Brian Cage and Ricky Starks was pulled. Instead, we got an AEW World Championship match with Jon Moxley successfully defending his title against Eddie Kingston.

The 6-man tag match that was pulled is now expected to take place on the October 7th edition of Dynamite. Wrestling Observer Radio noted that will be the first taping that Archer can appear at, as he noted he will be out two weeks after his positive test.
