We previously reported here on eWn that a fan in the front row at Friday night’s ROH “Summer Supercard” event suffered a “medical emergency”. It appears that the fan was just drunk and passed out during the main event, which featured Matt Taven vs. Alex Shelley for the ROH World Title.
Several fans in the audience started chanting “wake him up.” Shelley then stole the guys shoe and threw it at Taven, who threw it back. The shoe landed back at the fan’s feet.
Shelley eventually helped get the fan to wake up. The crowd then started chanting “He’s alive!” Video of the incident can be seen below:
