As previously reported here on eWn, there have been rumors as of late that WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle will be ending his in-ring career with a big match at the upcoming WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view event. During the latest edition of WOL, that appears to still be the case.

In recent months, WWE officials have been discussing plans for a retirement match involving Kurt Angle at the big pay-per-view event. As of this writing, there is no word on who Angle’s potential opponent will be.

Kurt Angle was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2017. He made his in-ring return to WWE at the 2017 TLC pay-per-view event, teaming up with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to face The Miz, Braun Strowman, Kane, Cesaro, and Sheamus. This was his first match in WWE in over 11 years.

Angle worked the WrestleMania 34 pay-per-view event last year, teaming up with Ronda Rousey to defeat the team of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.
