I attended last night’s Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Sean Waltman Q & A event in Glasgow, and I had to say, was one of the better events I’ve been to. Rather than having the Q & A first, there was a set timetable. Posed photos with a professional photographer ran from 7:30-8:30, then the main performance started and after that, it was time for meet & greet and autographs.

The photographs were done like something I’d never seen before, a professional photographer, who , after taking your photo with the three gents, had the physical 8×10 photograph ready for you within seconds.Cost: Photo £20, Signed Photo £30

The main performance, the Q&A part was what I had paid to see. It was great just watching three legends, three best friends, sitting having a great time telling stories. Seeing Scott Hall is such great shape makes it all worth while. The Q&A was handled well, and while most got their questions in, due to time restraints, a few were left disappointed. The host who stayed on stage irked me a little, as his job was purely to relay questions, however, continued to put his two cents into each opinion, I didn’t pay to see you, I paid to see the NWO. Other than that small thing, was an enjoyable performance.

After the Q&A, there was the signing portion of the event. Seemed organised enough, prices were a little steep (£15 for 8×10) however, as part of your ticket price, you were included 2 autographs, so you didn’t have to pay anything if you didn’t want to, and after attending conventions this weekend that Kevin Nash was charging £20 for one signature, this was a welcome change.

All in all, it was a fun night and something I’d do again. The organizers have done a great job, considering the stress they were under (the main organizer of the event, Chris Duke, is currently in hospital after suffering a heart attack the night previous), so I can only asume that there was a lot of reshuffling going on.

I noticed a few people irked and complaining about prices, however, I found them to be reasonable, and a well run event. Regardless of what you’ve heard, I recommend you give this a go, it’s a once in a life time opportunity after all.
