A National Guard/Wrestling Bill Shot Down, Trish/HOF

— A law that would have kept the National Guard from sponsoring professional wrestling and NASCAR was shot down in the US House of Representatives on Friday. The law, which had been introduced by Minnesota representative Betty McCollum, was intended to curtail wasteful spending by the Pentagon. McCollum had said of the bill, “The fact that $53 million in taxpayers’ funds is going to sponsor some of the most violent and sexist entertainment on television and NASCAR racing teams that results in zero recruits is a waste of money.”

“I officially cannot see my toes anymore #bellybumpproblems #babystratus”
