Samoa Joe dethroned Darby Allin to become a two-time AEW TNT Champion in the main event of this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Joe didn’t get to celebrate much as the returning Wardlow quickly ran him off.
Wardlow cut a promo for fans after the show went off the air. This was his first AEW appearance since losing to Joe on the December 28th episode of Dynamite. The King Of Television had chopped off Mr. Mayhem’s signature man bun that night.
Following the show, an emotional Wardlow admitted to missing fans over the last few weeks. The former TNT Champion was happy to be back in his hometown of Ohio and wondered whether fans would still chant his name following his absence. The entire arena buzzed with ‘Wardlow’ chants as Mr. Mayhem declared his love for the audience before taking his leave.
