Chris Jericho vs. MJF took place at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view event in Jacksonville, Florida at Daily’s Place. The stipulation coming into the contest was if MJF wins, he joins Inner Circle.
Jericho got the early advantage as they brawled around ringside. MJF fought back until Jericho bite his hand. Jericho went for a bull dog, but MJF sent him into the corner. Jericho hit a frankensteiner off the top rope for a near fall. MJF worked him for a few minutes until Jericho got him in the Walls of Jericho, but MJF got out of it.
Jericho hit the code breaker for a near fall. Wardlow distracted the referee so MJF could hit Jericho with the brass knuckles, but Jericho avoided it. Jericho got a bat and MJF tried to sell like he got hit with it, which allowed MJF to roll him up for the win.
