AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida vs. Nyla Rose took place at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view event in Jacksonville, Florida at Daily’s Place.
Shida came right out of the gate and put a beatdown on Rosa. She tossed her into the barricade and was going to jump off a chair, but Rosa caught her with a clothesline. Vickie Guerrero took a cheap shot at Shida and that allowed a further beatdown of Rosa. Rosa worked over the right knee of Shida.
Moments later, Shida made a comeback. Rosa missed a back splash off the middle rope and Shida landed a series of strikes. Rosa went back to working over the knee. Shida hit the falcon arrow for 2. Shida hit her finisher for the win.
