AEW News – Orange Cassidy Defeats ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page, Luchasaurus Turns Heel

During the opening bout on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, we saw Orange Cassidy defeat ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page.

Cassidy was accompanied by Trent? and the newly returning Chuck Taylor, but the pair would be sent to the back before the match as a result of a technicality raised by Dan Lambert.

Cassidy would secure the win after hitting Page and Lambert with the Orange Punch, before laying out Page with a powerslam.

Also during this week’s special Blood & Guts themed episode of AEW Dynamite, we saw a heel turn as Luchasaurus firmly aligned himself with Christian Cage. Cage would cut a promo at the expense of Jungle Boy’s family, wishing death upon them all, other than Jungle Boy’s mother. He would then introduce Luchasaurus for a match against Serpentico.

Ahead of his match, Luchasaurus would debut a new theme, mask and utilized darker pyro.

Luchasaurus would defeat Serpentico in quick fashion, locking him in a Snare-Trap/Nerve-Hold combination. He would then attack Serpentico after the bell at the instruction of Cage, choke-slamming his opponent onto the outside.
