Following this week’s episode of AEW Rampage, we have a new match set for next week’s Rampage broadcast.
We’ll see Red Velvet facing off against Kris Statlander in a women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Quarterfinal match.
Of course, the match was originally set to be Velvet vs. Hikaru Shida, but Tony Schiavone announced that Shida suffered an injury during her Philadelphia Street Fight with Serena Deeb. Shida denies that she’s injured and appears confused as to why she was removed from the tournament.
As of this writing, there is no word on why the match was changed.
