Everyone loves the Acclaimed, and that includes the National League champions, the Philadelphia Phillies. During Sunday’s game against the Padres, Rhys Hopkins of the Phillies hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the third inning. Upon returning to the dugout, Hopkins and Brandon Marsh did the “scissoring” gesture made popular by AEW’s Tag Team Champions. Anthony Bowens made note of the gesture via his Twitter account, which you can see below:

Matt Hardy picked up a win on this week’s AEW Dark: Elevation, but it didn’t end well for him. Hardy got hit with a $100,000 fine and a suspension from The Firm following his win over XXX. Stokely Hathaway and Ethan Page, who have managed to get control of Hardy’s contract, took issue with Hardy using the Twist of Fate. According to The Firm, this was prohibited because it is now Page’s move (and called the Page Turner), which meant Hardy was being fined $50,000. An enraged Hardy then shoved Hathaway, which resulted in the fine being doubled and Page suspending him. You can see the interaction via Page’s Twitter account below:
