Many AEW wrestlers have caught the injury bug as of late. Not only did CM Punk relinquish the AEW World Championship due to injury, but Bryan Danielson has also been out of action. Now, more wrestlers have caught the injury bug.
According to Fightful, several unconfirmed wrestlers have sustained injuries heading into tonight’s AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door PPV. In addition, Jungle Boy and Kyle O’Reilly are also dealing with injuries. Tony Khan stated that plans changed drastically due to the sheer amount of injuries plaguing the promotion.
It should also be noted that Buddy Matthews is currently working through a shoulder injury. Fans will have to see how Tony Khan and everyone adjust to these unfortunate circumstances tonight.
