Bryan Danielson vs. Jon Moxley was booked at this year’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:
They got back and forth in the early going until Danielson took over. Danielson missed a diving headbutt. Moxley with a series of suplexes then a powerslam. Moxley tossed him to the floor and they brawled on the floor. Moxley got busted open on his temple and so was Bryan. Moxley caught him with a clothesline. Danielson with a back suplex off the top rope. Moxley put him in the sleeper. Danielson went for the crossface, but Moxley got to the bottom rope. Bryan with a running knee strike for a near fall. Danielson had him in a triangle choke and Moxley rolled over him as he passed out for the pinfall. Post-match, they brawled until William Regal came out and slapped Moxley to calm him down then did the same to Danielson. Regal told them to shake hands.
