Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Keith Lee vs. Ricky Starks vs. Orange Cassidy vs. Christian Cage vs. Wardlow in the Face of the Revolution ladder match for a TNT Title shot was booked at this year’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:Â
Everyone started brawling to kick things off. Cage hit several people with a ladder. Starks took out Cage and climbed the ladder. Orange with a drop kick to Starks. Cage sent Orange and Starks to the floor. Hobbs and Cage brawled on the ladder and Cage hit the reverse DDT. Lee with a double crossbody to Cage and Starks. Lee caught Orange and used him as a weapon to hit other wrestlers with.
Hobbs hit Lee and Wardlow with a ladder. Orange knocked Starks and Hobbs into the ropes off a ladder. Orange with a helicopter using a ladder. Orange stood on a ladder held by Wardlow and Lee at one point.
Hobbs smashed Lee with a ladder. Cage speared Hobbs onto a ladder. Starks with a spear from the middle rope through a ladder to Cage. Wardlow knocked Starks off the ladder. They all brawled on ladders. Lee tossed Orange out of the ring and he overshot those who were supposed to catch him.
Hobbs and Wardlow pulled apart a ladder then used it as a weapon. Wardlow tackled Lee and Hobbs off the stage through a table. Danhausen took out Starks. Wardlow with a powerbomb to Cage. Wardlow powerbombed Starks off a ladder onto another ladder and then grabbed the ring.Â
