Former Impact X-Division Champion turned AEW employee Sonjay Dutt has confirmed that his wrestling career is over.
Dutt had several runs in TNA Wrestling/Impact Wrestling before joining WWE as a producer in 2019.
After being released, Dutt joined AEW where he has aligned himself with Satnam Singh.
While speaking on AEW Unrestricted, Sonjay was asked if he will wrestle in AEW:
“There will be zero chance that I will be returning to the ring. Let’s put it like this. If I was fixed physically, if my body was 100%, that would be something I would consider. But until that happens, there’s no way I’m doing it.”
In addition to his one reign as X-Division Champion, Dutt is a former MLW Junior Heavyweight Champion and two-time CZW World Junior Heavyweight Champion.
