Former AEW Women’s World Champion Riho is expected to be back on TV soon after suffering a broken collar bone in January.
At Battle of the Belts, Riho suffered the injury early on in a match with then-Women’s World Champion Britt Baker but continued the match without any complaints.
In her time away, Riho travelled back to her native Japan so she could recover in a more familiar setting, but will soon be back in the U.S and at AEW events.
On her subscribers-only blog, Riho confirmed that she is all healed up, and said she will be returning to the United States very soon.
This return fits in with the expected recovery time, as after the injury, it was said that it’d take roughly three months for the inaugural Women’s World Champion to fully heal.
