AEW Talent Were “Overjoyed” About Mark Briscoe Making Dynamite Debut

The AEW locker room was “overjoyed” that Mark Briscoe was allowed to make his debut for the promotion this week.

On last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Briscoe faced Jay Lethal in Mark’s first match since the death of his brother Jay last week.

The Briscoes, considered one of the greatest tag teams of this generation, were banned by Warner Bros. Discovery from appearing on TV due to controversial comments made by Jay over a decade ago.

Fightful Select reports that talent were “overjoyed” by Mark being allowed to appear this week.

It was added that the new bosses at WBD were “helpful in Tony Khan’s big efforts to make the Mark Briscoe appearance happen.”

Last night’s Dynamite also saw a tribute package to Jay play and the roster appear at the end of the night to support Mark.
