Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara & Minoru Suzuki vs. Eddie Kingston, Wheeler Yuta & Shota Umino was booked at this year’s AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:
Yuta with a series of german suplexes to Jericho. Kingston and Suzuki traded chops. Suzuki with a head kick to Kingston. The heels beat down Kingston. Sammy and Yuta hit some outside dives before Kingston hit an outside dive. Shota hit a drop kick to Jericho. Sammy with a cutter to Shota then Yuta with a frog splash to Sammy. Jericho went for the lionsault, but Eddie hit him in the head and Shota pinned him for 2. Jericho won with the Judas Effect on Shota.
