Bullet Club (Young Bucks, El Phantasmo) vs. Dudes with Attitudes (Sting, Darby Allin, Shingo Takagi) was booked at this year’s AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:
Sting started the match by jumping off part of the entrance way. Nick took out Allin with an outside dive. The Bucks beat down Allin for a few minutes. El Phantasmo got the hot tag and landed a series of strikes. Shingo with a back suplex to Nick. Sting and Matt were tagged in. Sting with a series of strikes. El Phantasmo tried to twist the nipples of Sting, who no sold it. Sting with Stinger Splash in the corner to the Bucks. Allin with a stunner to El Phantasmo. Bucks with super kicks to Shingo, Allin and Sting. Sting no sold it and hit a clothesline. Allin went for a coffin drop, but Matt put his knees up. Nick with a 450 splash to Allin then Matt with a moonsault and El Phantasmo with a splash for 2 as Shingo broke it up. Bucks took out Shingo and Allin with a dive. The heels hit a super kick to Sting. The Bucks missed BT Trigger then Sting hit double scorpion death drop. Sting with a nipple twister to El Phantasmo. Shingo with his finisher to El Phantasmo.
