Wheeler Yuta says Claudio Castagnoli is the person who encouraged him to get back in shape.
During a recent appearance on “The Mark Hoke Show,” Yuta revealed that Castagnoli inspired him to improve his look. He said,
“I started to let my physique go a little bit, and then Claudio is like ‘Hey man, you have to stand next to me every week on television. You might want to work on that a little bit.’ He was very kind when he said it, but there’s definitely been some moments where some guys have been like ‘Let me give you this piece of advice and then it’s up to you to take it or not.’ You always have those people that are looking out for you, and once you know that guys have your best interest in mind, then you can really gravitate to them.”
He continued, “That’s something I’ve been very fortunate to have with the guys in the BCC is they’re always very honest with me. If they see flaws in my game, they will tell me; if they think I did something good, they’ll tell me as well.”
During a new AEW “Digital Exclusive,” Adam Cole commented on making his return on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
On last week’s show, Cole defeated Buddy Murphy in a singles match.
You can check out some highlights from the interview below:
On his match with Matthews: “It’s been a long 13 months. Every single one of those months…I was dreaming about stepping back into an AEW ring. [Buddy Matthews] tested me. Not only did he test me but he brought out the best in me and reminded me exactly who Adam Cole is and what Adam Cole stands for. Now I still have two matches to go if I want to get my hands on that scumbag MJF.”
On his match with Black: “He is one of the toughest fights that I go through. I need to beat you, not just to get my hands on MJF but to prove it to myself that I can hang with the best wrestlers in the world.
