At AEW Dynasty 2025, Adam Cole made his entrance for his match against Daniel Garcia dressed in attire influenced by The Witcher video games.
During a recent appearance on “All Elite Arcade,” Cole expressed his enthusiasm about wearing the unique gear.
The TNT Champion said “As anyone who knows me, they know that my two passions in life are pro wrestling and video games. Like you had mentioned, Uno, whether it be in my wrestling career or whether it be on Twitch, as the Chugs, I generally keep the two separate. Of course they intertwine, and of course we talk about both sometimes. But one of the things I decided to do really in the past few years is show my love and appreciation for video games, and that’s through, like, some of the big matches that i have. The first time i challenged for the AEW World Championship, in my first pay-per-view main event, I wore some Halo gear as the Master Chief. Then for All In, once again, challenging for the World Championship. I had Handsome Jack inspired gear. Then coming up on the 17-year wrestling anniversary, winning the TNT Championship in Philadelphia, I had to do some Geralt gear. I had to do some Witcher 3 gear. So I think it turned out awesome. I was so, so happy with how it was made. So, so excited to wear it, and yeah, on such a big night, I just wanted to represent one of my favorite video games, one of the greatest video games ever made, which is really cool.”
During a recent appearance on the “McGuire on Wrestling” podcast, MVP expressed his gratitude for spending the past twenty years as a professional wrestler.
MVP noted that his on-screen manager role would help him continue his career once he finishes up with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin.
MVP said, “From the time I signed a contract with WWE, which was in 2005, I have not had a job outside of the professional wrestling industry, and I’d realize how fortunate I am to have that, and to know that at this point, there’s no end in sight. When I retire from wrestling, you know, I lucked into this manager thing, it wasn’t planned. It just kind of happened, and here I am with this whole new chapter of my career being a manager. So, when I retire from being an in-ring guy, and Bobby and Shelton decide to retire, the Hurt Syndicate closes shop. Potentially, I’m still around to be a mouthpiece for some other young talent to help teach them and guide their careers and help blow them up. So conceivably, I could do this for another 10 or 15 years.”
