AEW Dynamite Ratings Breakdown (12/5/24)

AEW Dynamite saw an increase in viewership and ratings this past Wednesday compared to the previous week.

The program drew 586,000 viewers, recording a 0.17 rating (230,000 viewers) in the key 18-49 demographic and a 0.10 in the 18-34 demographic.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has shared a detailed breakdown of this week’s numbers, including each quarter-hour.

AEW Dynamite ranked #11 for the day and #4 in its time slot. The highest-rated program of the evening was ESPN’s college basketball coverage, which garnered 970,000 viewers with a 0.24 rating (and a late game drew 1,337,000 viewers with a 0.40 rating). Jesse Watters on Fox News attracted 3,893,000 viewers with a 0.21 rating, while Hannity had 3,073,000 viewers with a 0.20 rating. MTV’s Challenge reached 481,000 viewers with a 0.20 rating.

Compared to last week, AEW Dynamite’s viewership increased by 9.3%, the 18-49 demographic rose by 12.2%, and the 18-34 demographic was up by 37.3%.

Compared to last year, AEW Dynamite’s viewership decreased by 28.8%, the 18-49 demographic dropped by 29.9%, and the 18-34 demographic dropped by 41.2%.

AEW Dynamite drew 42,000 men aged 18-34 (up 13.5%), 28,000 women in the same age range (up 64.7%), 122,000 men aged 35-49 (up 13%), and 38,000 women aged 35-49 (down 17.4%). The audience composition was predominantly male, 71.3% in the 18-49 demo.
