Kenny Omega returned to AEW programming at Worlds End 2024 to present the Continental Championship to Kazuchika Okada, the winner of the Continental Classic, teasing a potential matchup between the two at All In: Texas 2025.
Omega, who hadn’t competed since December 2023 due to diverticulitis, faced Gabe Kidd in his first match at Wrestle Dynasty 2025 on January 5.
Omega again appeared on AEW TV this week on Dynamite, where he was attacked by Kyle Fletcher, Lance Archer, and Brian Cage until Will Ospreay made the save. The former AEW World Champion is scheduled to face Cage next week on Dynamite.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that AEW has planned Omega vs. Okada for All In: Texas 2025.
The two previously had stellar matches in 2017 and 2018 in NJPW.
AEW All In: Texas 2025 is scheduled for Saturday, July 12, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
