As a result of the finish from the main event of AEW Revolution 2025, wherein Christian Cage cashed in his world title contract mid-match and ended up passing out to Jon Moxley’s bulldog choke, “The Rated-R Superstar” Cope doesn’t consider that a loss, and is looking to prove that he would have had the leader of The Death Riders beaten.
Jon Moxley, never one to turn down a fight, quickly responded on Dynamite to say that he underestimated Cope, and he can admire his tenacity. But if Cope is complaining about the rules, they should have a rematch where there aren’t any. Call it a street fight or “anything you want that looks cool on a poster.” Moxley’s dad always told him to measure twice and cut once. He’s not going to make the same mistake twice.

Mercedes Mone will also defend her TBS Championship against Billie Starkz, as a result of Starkz just flat out challenging her in a backstage interview segment.

Also set for next week will be the four-way finale in the AEW International Championship Eliminator Tournament to determine who faces Kenny Omega for the title at AEW Dynasty.
So far, “Speedball” Mike Bailey (the wild card entrant) defeated The Beast Mortos, and Orange Cassidy defeated Hechicero. Those two are set, but the remaining two competitors will be determined on Saturday’s episode of Collision, with Mark Briscoe against Mark Davis and Katsuyori Shibata against Ricochet. Also announced for Collision is a rematch of FTR against Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly.
