Former AEW Women’s World Champion Nyla Rose recently shared a lighthearted behind-the-scenes anecdote from her title defense at the 2020 Double or Nothing pay-per-view event.

Appearing on a recent episode of the “AEW Unrestricted” podcast, Rose reflected on the event’s casino-themed atmosphere. She said,

“I remember getting in trouble for trying to take one of the giant playing cards. The ones Charlie made? Yeah, I wanted one so badly. The set decoration was incredible. We really tried to elevate the vibe and carry over the energy and visuals from the previous year.”

AEW wrestler Will Ospreay is aiming to broaden his impact on professional wrestling, expressing a desire to go beyond his in-ring work by organizing a major all-women’s wrestling event in 2025.

In a recent interview with Grapple Theory, the “Aerial Assassin” shared his vision. He said,

“There’s something in me that really wants to do something daring. I believe the largest gate for a women’s show in Europe is held by EVE with around 1,000 people. I want to break that record. With the resources I have through AEW and Ring of Honor, plus my connection with STARDOM, I think it’s possible. Dann [Read] and I have been talking, and by the end of this year, we’d love to try running a big venue and see if we can set a new benchmark for European women’s wrestling.”
