As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, AEW star and former Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker is rumored to be seeking an early release from her AEW contract. The speculation intensified after Baker appeared to reference her frustrations with the company on social media. In a post to her Instagram Stories, she wrote,
“A bottle of water can be $1 at a supermarket, $3 at the gym, $5 at the movies, $6 on a plane… Same water. The only thing that changed its value was the place. So next time you feel your worth is nothing, maybe you’re at the wrong place.”
Now, fellow AEW wrestler Queen Aminata has seemingly responded to Baker’s comments. On her Twitter account, Aminata posted a photo of a hotel room bottle of water priced at $6.50, in what appears to be a cryptic reaction.
Baker has not appeared on AEW television since November 2024.
