The WorkHorsemen (Anthony Henry and JD Drake) were supposed to be signed to WWE before an injury derailed plans for the tag team.
On Twitter, Henry shared that the pair were going to be signed and wondered how their careers would have gone had they reached WWE.
Something not many know:
@RealJDDrake was supposed to be signed, alongside myself, for WWE. Obviously, that didn't happen.I often wonder what would have happened had that happened.
I think we still would have ended up where we are, but the journey would have been different.

When a fan suggested that WWE rejected Drake because of his size, Henry shared that an injury led to plans falling apart.
I don't understand the need for people to talk so poorly about others. You went out of your way to make a comment that didn't need to be made, just to try and hurt someone.
For the record, WWE indeed wanted him. His body was not a factor in him not signing. It was an injury.

Henry was released from his AEW contract in April while recovering from an injury. Tony Khan has clarified that he will be rehired when he has recovered.
