Cody Rhodes has been absent from WWE television since his unexpected loss to John Cena at WrestleMania 41, but his return may be just around the corner.

According to a recent WrestleVotes Q&A, Rhodes is expected to be involved in the upcoming WWE Money in the Bank 2025 pay-per-view event, set for June 7 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. The report states,

“I do believe he’s still scheduled to be a part of the Money in the Bank show. I don’t know if he’s wrestling or if that’s when his return will take place, but as far as I know, he’ll be in Los Angeles for that PLE.”

Fueling the speculation further, Rhodes is being locally advertised for the May 16 edition of SmackDown. However, WWE has yet to officially confirm his appearance. Given that Rhodes has previously been pulled from other advertised dates during his hiatus, the exact timing of his comeback remains uncertain.

As we reported earlier today here on eWn, there has even been talk of Cody Rhodes & Bad Bunny vs. John Cena & Travis Scott taking place at WWE Money In The Bank 2025.
