Backstage Update – Eddie Kingston Is Dealing With A Tubular Fracture

As we previously reported here on eWn, Eddie Kingston is dealing with a leg injury and has been pulled from the Anarchy in the Arena match at the AEW Double or Nothing 2024 pay-per-view event, which takes place on May 26th in Las Vegas, NV. The Mad King has been replaced by the returning Darby Allin in the bout.

According to a report from Pwinsider, Kingston is dealing with a tubular fracture in his leg. The injury occurred when he took a suplex through a table at the NJPW Resurgence event this past weekend.

Earlier this week, Kingston had some X-rays done in California, which resulted in the injury being confirmed. As of this writing, Kingston is still awaiting word on how it will be addressed from a medical standpoint.

As far as a return is concerned, Kingston wants to be ready in time for the AEW All In 2024 pay-per-view event in London, England. Of course, that will all depend on whether he’ll need to undergo surgery.
