Independent wrestlers Emily Hale and Brittany Jade were seen backstage at this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday night. It’s currently unclear whether their presence was related to potential work opportunities or simply a visit, but their appearance has sparked some buzz within the wrestling community. As we previously reported here on eWn, former WWE Superstar and original Tough Enough winner Maven was backstage at AEW Collision on Saturday night.
Fightful Select is reporting that EJ Nduka is attracting interest from multiple promotions after his contract with AEW expired earlier this week. The former MLW talent is reportedly weighing several options as he considers his next move in professional wrestling.
Regarding AEW Collision, last Saturday’s episode aired on TBS instead of its usual TNT slot due to a contingency plan related to the NBA Playoffs. AEW had scheduled the shift in case a Game 7 was needed, which ultimately didn’t happen. Despite a movie marathon airing in the NBA game’s place, AEW proceeded with the move to TBS as planned. Similar schedule changes could take place during the NHL Playoffs. As a reminder, next week’s episode of AEW Collision will also air on TBS but will be broadcast on Thursday night instead of Saturday.
